This policy explains how We Light DFW (“we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you visit welightdfw.com or contact us.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you request a quote, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and property address, along with your answers about the project: the service you’re interested in, how much of the home you’d like lit, and when you’d like it installed. We also keep what you tell us when you call, text, or email.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our providers collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the site. Some of this is collected with cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel described below.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, schedule a visit, and give you a quote.
- To perform the work, provide warranty service, and keep business records.
- To measure and improve our advertising and our website.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
Calls and text messages
When you submit our form, you agree that we may call or text you about your lighting project at the number you provide, including by automated means. Consent isn’t a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. You can also ask us to stop calling at any time.
We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.
Advertising and cookies
We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to understand how people who see our ads use our site and to show our ads to people who may be interested in them. Meta may use cookies and collect information about your visit under its own privacy policy.
You can limit this by adjusting the ad settings in your Facebook or Instagram account, by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser, or by using the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out tool at optout.aboutads.info.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run the business, such as our website host and form processor (Netlify), our advertising provider (Meta), and our phone and text messaging providers. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
- As part of a sale, merger, or transfer of our business.
How long we keep it
We keep your information as long as we need it to respond to you, provide our services and warranty, keep business records, and meet legal requirements.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@welightdfw.com or calling (918) 319-0761. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
